Meet Sarah… The engineer, traveller and Beacon Strategies Analyst

The last few months of 2020 were an exciting time for us at Beacon Strategies, as we were able to invest in growing our team. We were joined by two new, wonderful Analysts who have now settled in and are working across many of our client projects.

One of those joining our team was Sarah Crisci. Sarah originally lived and studied in the USA before moving to Australia where she lived in Darwin and worked for a big 4 consultancy there. Her passion for the health and social services sector stems from her travels to Thailand, where she completed volunteer work in youth and community development. Sarah has qualifications in industrial engineering and is a valuable asset to any project. Here’s a little more about Sarah…

Why did you join the Beacon Strategies team?

As a consultant, I had worked across a range of sectors so I was exposed to a lot and was able to see what I liked and didn’t like. One of my favourite sectors to work in was health and social services because it felt like really important and meaningful work. Beacon Strategies appealed to me because it was the same type of consulting work I was already doing, but in a sector where my work could genuinely have a positive impact. I was really impressed reading about the work Beacon Strategies was doing, and was thrilled by the opportunity to join the team.

What technical skills do you bring to the team?

I’ve always been very analytical, and come from a background of process improvement and efficiency. This allows me to look at an issue from different angles and interpret data and other findings to develop the best outcomes.

What do you hope to achieve over the next 12 months?

I look forward to getting to know all our clients and the amazing work they do, as well as furthering my knowledge of the Australian health industry! I’m also looking forward to taking on more responsibility through managing projects and establishing relationships with our clients.
